The owner of True Forensics, Louis Peck, recently received his master's of science in mechanical
engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and has years of experience in both design and forensic engineering. While pursuing his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in design, he was nominated for the Dean's Medal. Louis' master's studies have focused greatly on occupant kinematics in automotive collisions as well as impact mechanics, stress analysis and fire dynamics. In fact, his thesis project was sponsored by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  Louis has also developed a nationally distributed software package for analyzing low speed vehicular impacts, and has recently released, in conjunction with Dr. Matthew King, a program to predict both vehicle and pole behavior during vehicle versus utility pole impacts.
